London Fashion Week is just about over and Milan Fashion Week starts today. Before the photos from the Milan shows start rolling in, I wanted to tell you all about two more collections.

Just like last season, Burberry Prorsum streamed their fashion live via the internet. This time they also showed the fashion show in 3D live in cities around the world like Dubai and New York. I think that would have been a really treat to see. The show was amazing even though the live stream cut on and off. The main thing I liked was the use of shearling in the coats and ankle boots. The dresses were ok, but weren’t as impressive as the coats and shoes. A lot of the models wore over-the-knee boots as well.

The thing I find interesting about London Fashion Week and other international fashion weeks is the fact that I can learn about new designers or rediscover old designers I forgot about. Jenny Packham’s collection was definitely designed for the night owl. The huge bow details made the clothes look like wrapped presents. I loved how all of the clothes were made with silks, satins, and intricate designs made with sequins and beading. Perfect cocktail party attire. Photos from London Fashion Week.
